HPSS have a high level of expertise in hardware maintenance support which is made possible with specialist HP field service engineers. On-Site support for all systems and peripherals, such as HP9000 systems and legacy equipment no longer supported by the manufacturer.


Support services can be tailored to the individual customer needs.


Mission critical support provides a 4 hour response and repair contract.

 

HP, Compaq and Dell are just some of the manufacturers equipment supported.

Less critical support can be provided at varying levels of response, depending on our customers' requirements & budgets.


A variety of HPSS responses mirror the HP Support Services but can also be tailored to your individual needs.

Support levels include, but are not limited to:
4 Hour Response ( 24 / 7 )
  • An engineer will arrive on site within 4 hours of a fault being logged.
  • This service is available 365 days per year.

4 Hours Response ( Normal Working Day )
  • An engineer arrives on site within 4 hours of a fault being logged.
  • Service available from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm not including weekends and bank holidays.

8 Working Hours Response ( Normal Working Day )
  • An engineer arrives on site within 8 hours of a fault being logged.
  • Service available from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm not including weekends and bank holidays.

Next Working Day Response
  • An engineer arrives on site during the next working day of the fault being logged.
  • Service available from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm not including weekends and bank holidays.

VRC Available for Volume Repairs On-site
  • Engineer attends site on an agreed day.
  • Service is available from Monday to Friday.
  • All equipment is repaired at the same location.

Preventative Maintenance
  • Service complies with manufactures specifications.
  • Can be included in a contract at an additional cost, if not a standard recommendation from the manufacturer.

Examples Of Equipment Included in Support Agreements:
Servers
  • Intel based PC servers.
  • Unix servers including A,D,E,F,G,H,J,K,N,R and rp series in the 9000 range.
  • HP 1000 systems, A400, A600, A700, A900, A990.

Desktops and Tower Systems
  • Including Brio, Vectra, X series, Proliant.

Workstations
  • B,C,X series including all UNIX and Intel based units.

Storage
  • Tape Backup e.g. C1555A DLT 4000 and DLT 8000.
  • Disk, Disk Arrays e.g. 7958B, C2201A and A3312A.

Networking
  • Switches and hubs, for example J4090A, J4138A, J3294A.
  • Print servers and peripheral sharing, e.g. Jet Direct J2591A.
  • Network Cards.

Printing and Plotters
  • Printers, including LaserJet, Deskjet, to line printers such as 2564B.
  • Designjet.
  • Multifuncton and All-in-one products.
